Bought these lights to provide ambient lighting for my balcony. They work as expected, and a reasonable price for the 16 lights that you get. Setup was a breeze, and the lights came charged so they were good to go as soon as I installed them. Do note that you might need to pair them up if you’re looking for something brighter
The only negative was that almost all the lights I received had pretty deep scratches. Not sure if this is QC-related, or could just be improved by better packing (the box they arrived in was quite flimsy). Other than that, a good buy.
The Solar Deck Lights 16 Pack is a fantastic investment for anyone looking to add a touch of elegance and functionality to their outdoor space. These compact lights, powered by solar energy, offer a warm and inviting glow that can transform your garden, patio, or walkway.
The solar charging system is efficient, ensuring the lights are fully charged and ready to illuminate your outdoor area throughout the night. With a brightness equivalent to a traditional Diya, these lights provide ample illumination without being overpowering.
The best part is their durability and low maintenance. Simply install them in a sunny spot, and they'll automatically turn on at dusk, providing a beautiful and energy-efficient lighting solution.
Love these. Would have liked in white, but that’s just availability issue.
The lights are great. Very very easy to install. Work very effectively. Some lights a little brighter than others. Mechanism doesn’t feel winter proof but we will see.
I bought the 16 pack of these knowing very well solar lights often don't last very long, so I'd have some spares. I installed 5 along back fence boundary (full sun) and for the first week or so they were good. They don't give off much light, but provide a nice glow which highlights the boundary which is what I wanted. After a week or so, 2 of the five started getting dimmer and dimmer, until a month later they're pretty much not working at all.
I took one of the faulty ones down and noticed it was still lit (very dimly) during the day, so it seems something is wrong with the charging circuit - either there's no current coming from the PV cell, or the IC isn't detecting that current so it's not turning off the light during the day... either way, it means the battery was slowly drained until dead.
